Dear Heart,
I am beyond thankful to my creator for hearing your sound today. The pleasant sound of your thump, beating steadily like the Djembe African drum is the warrior cry of strength, passion, and victory. In the past, people have tried to destroy you, there are scars to prove their efforts, but that doesn't matter because they have been forgiven.
Please, also forgive me for allowing any unworthy being to ever touch you; I will never do it again. It took a while for us (including mind, body, and soul) to heal collectively, but today you are a pure reflection of energy, light, beauty, and God's amazing grace. I will do my best to not block your light, eager to shine through my words and my day to day actions. I will quiet myself and listen to your truth speak.
You are the source of the positive energy that flows through me. One day I hope to visit the Iguazu Waterfall in Brazil to see if that flow matches the one in my imagination. You are goodness, you are priceless, and you share that goodness to those around you. Because of that, a treasure awaits my soul when it returns to heaven. I write you today to tell you that I love you, I cherish you and no one can do that better than me and God himself. Together we conquer the challenges that life brings, together we rise.
Letter signed by me with love,
