Minutes Away; Getting Ready

The One For Me
I was looking for a God fearing, loving, thoughtful, educated, practical spouse. I knew Jonathon was the one because I always prayed for a man strong in his faith. One day Jonathon presented me with a Couple's Devotional for Dating Christians. It was so lovely. During the week we worked through the devotional individually and on the weekends we would pack a picnic blanket and some snacks and go to a park to complete the joint part of the devotional. It really worked to bring us closer together and closer to God at the same time! What i love most about my husband is his patience and his quirky sense of humor.

All About Marriage
Waking up in the morning to my husbands beautiful smile is what I love most about marriage and I believe the most important aspect of marriage to make it successful is communication!

So far marriage has taught me to be giving to be selfless and despite all the negativity, fears, challenges that comes with marriage, we make our marriage work by never going to bed angry, trying new things together, being interested in each other’s daily lives. No matter how boring I think his job is I let him tell me about his latest work project because it makes him happy!

A moment of prayer

To make the honeymoon period last we try a new recipe together once a week. It's so fun to decide on a recipe, go grocery shopping for all the ingredients, make the meal and eat it together. It's the little things in life.
LETS CELEBRATE!

Oh Happy Day!

Advice
To the single woman hoping to get married some day, i would say, be the woman you would want your love one married too. Develop your relationship with God, your own hobbies, interests and education and one day sooner or later your spouse will complement you instead of defining you.
