Please introduce yourself and your brand?

I am a passionate and innovative individual with a keen interest in fashion. Ever seeking ways through which my ideas can be of benefit to people, the “birth”of Nopoku, served as a perfect channel for sharing my vision with the world!

What was the inspiration behind starting Nopoku and how has it been since you started your brand?

One cold winter afternoon, I decided to inject some warmth into her ensemble and stepped out in a multicolored maxi African print skirt paired with a yellow sweater. That day, not only did I receive compliments; I also received inquiries regarding the origin of her skirt and where it could be purchased. Later that day, while reviewing the days events, an idea suddenly emerged, “…making African/Ethnic fashion global!”. Eureka! Nopoku was born. Although there have been some challenges, it has been and continues to be a fulfilling venture.

What or who inspires you?

I draw my inspiration from the ocean and other natural phenomena.

What do you love about the work you do and what can we look forward to?

What I love most about the work that I do is the opportunity to give back to society through empowering women and creating employment opportunities. You can look forward to a gradual increase in the provision of unusual, pretty and exceptional finds as Nopoku grows.
